Does a fence require a permit?

Yes, the City Code regulates the location, height, and material of any fence.  Any fence that is leaning, sagging, or missing supports requires replacement or repairs.  A fence permit is required for all new fencing.  To obtain an Application for fencing and submitting please call the City of Jonesboro Planning and Zoning Department at (870) 932-0406.
