Mayor Harold Perrin was honored by the Arkansas Firefighters Association Northeast District on Thursday with the presentation of a plaque in appreciation of his time and dedication in support of firefighters.
As part of the presentation, a letter was read to the mayor from Arkansas Fire Training Academy Director Rachel Nix thanking the City of Jonesboro for support with repair and installation of 2,600 feet of new conduit wiring and new LED lighting at the Arkansas Fire Academy Jonesboro campus.
“Your generous donation has helped in making our nighttime firefighting classes a safer learning environment contributing to the successful instruction of these vital Fire and Rescue classes.”
