PUBLIC NOTIFICATION
Nominating & Rules Committee Meeting Scheduled
The Chairman of the Nominating & Rules Committee, David McClain, has called a special meeting to be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. in Council Chambers at the Municipal Center, 300 S. Church Street. This meeting is being held to discuss an ordinance to amend Section 2-95 of the City of Jonesboro Code of Ordinances to add the A&P Commission and the PACE Commission to the list of committees/commissions that may submit matters directly to the City Council without requiring another Council Committee review and a resolution to make appointments and reappointments to boards and commissions (Advertising & Promotion Commission, Land Bank Commission, Board of Zoning Adjustments, Municipal Airport Commission, and the Stormwater Management Board) as recommended by Mayor Harold Copenhaver.
