Camfil APC held its groundbreaking ceremony today on its factory that will replace the facility destroyed in the March 2020 tornado.
The entire state is impacted by this important air quality company, as evidenced by Gov. Asa Hutchinson’s appearance at today's event.
Mayor Harold Copenhaver also spoke at the groundbreaking:
“The Camfil ownership’s core values are more than a mantra — their workers operate by them every day: reliability, commitment, customer satisfaction, teamwork, and local presence.
“Camfil’s mission to protect people, processes and the environment make me proud that this global company operates in Jonesboro.
“And the fact that they have chosen to rebuild ever stronger in our city shows their commitment, as well as the fact that we must be doing good things for Camfil and its workforce in Jonesboro.
“So I want to thank Camfil’s global leaderships, Mr. Brunetti, and all the diligent staff who make Jonesboro’s Camfil facility a success for both them and our city.”
