Today, Mayor Copenhaver proclaimed September 28 as Gold Together for Childhood Cancer Day. The Gold Together Arkansas program of the American Cancer Society is dedicated to increasing awareness of childhood cancer, supporting families facing a diagnosis, and raising funds to end it. Residents are encouraged to wear gold and participate in Gold Together Arkansas on September 28. Learn more at
