Parks & Recreation
The Parks and Recreation Department cares for 21 parks covering about 250 acres.
A few of the services provided include Men's Flag Football in the Fall, Men's & Women's Adult Basketball in the Spring, Karate, Judo, Tai Kwan Do, and Akido year-round, 7 public Tennis courts, Coed Indoor Soccer in the Spring, and Meeting & Banquet Rooms.
Jonesboro now offers free Youth Sports through the "City Stars Youth Sports" program. Currently they offer Basketball and Soccer. Soccer seasons run in Spring and Fall with Basketball during the winter and summer.

Parks Community Centers
The Parks Department has three community centers; Earl Bell Community Center, Allen Park Community Center, and Parker Park Community Center. Each community center has rooms and gyms that can be rented for meetings, receptions and parties.

Winter Hours (November - February)
Courts will be open when there are team practices and adult leagues operating. Winter hours are also going to be weather permitting.
*Exceptions may be made to the summer and winter hours for programs, tournaments, and special events.
