JOB SUMMARY This position is responsible for the care and maintenance of the kennel area, provides initial intake service on animal, ex: dip/bath, and assist's Animal Control Officers in holding of animals for euthanasia.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Equivalent to four years high school or GED, with particular emphasis during high school in office skills, shop skills, or others, plus 7 to 11 months related experience and/or training, Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

JOB SUMMARY The purpose of this position is to operate heavy equipment to maintain streets and drainage systems.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  Requirements are the equivalent of four years high school or GED, with particular emphasis during high school in shop skills, or other related areas, plus 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training, OR equivalent combination of education and experience.  Requires a CDL license for equipment being operated.

The City of Jonesboro is accepting applications for Seasonal Park Workers for  Southside Softball Parks – Duties will include, but are not limited to, maintaining ball fields, mowing, weed eating, trimming shrubbery, watering and fertilizing, picking up litter, cleaning park and playfield restrooms, and maintaining equipment and tools.
